About Us
Founded from a small open meeting in Dec 05, in two years we have attracted a membership of 150 from the largest theatre-owners and producers, through independent producers and freelance directors, vis educational establishments, through to the youngest emerging producers and most adventurous Fringe theatre space.
MTM:UK is currently promoted to all members of Theatrical Management Association (TMA), Independent Theatre Council (ITC), the Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and the National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) in New York to encourage like minded professionals to join and build the Network. We welcome new members with two exceptions - we are not an organisation for actors or writers - you might say we represent those professionals who are never seen or heard on stage.
We work closely with Mercury Musical Development (MMD) which was established in 1992 to support writers and composers of musical theatre. We encourage all writers to join MMD.
